Ray Harrington III, is the President and CEO of Medify Photobiomodulation. A veteran in the startup medical device industry, his expansive roles have included such notable companies as Johnson and Johnson’s Ethicon Endo-Surgery, Acclarent’s Balloon Sinuplasty, and Xoft‘s Electronic Brachytherapy.
Previously, Ray was the National Director of Capital Business Development for Neuronetics, Inc (Nasdaq: STIM), developer of the Neurostar Advanced Therapy System for Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). Neurostar is the world’s leading Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) organization that pioneered the non-invasive treatment for Major Depressive Disorder. Mr. Harrington holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Baylor University and a Business Management Degree from The University of San Diego.
Bringing years of patient-facing experience to the leadership team, Michael Genovese, M.D., J.D., is a clinical psychiatrist, addiction specialist and the chief medical officer of Acadia Healthcare. He is also the medical director of the Officer Safety and Wellness Committee of the FBI National Academy Associates (FBINAA), helping to equip first responders with the tools they need to withstand, recover and grow following repeated trauma.
Dr. Genovese serves on the CMO Corporate Council of the Joint Commission, seeking to optimize quality and safety in healthcare. He is also a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry and the American Society of Addiction Medicine.
Doug Hatran is a startup medical device veteran who currently is the Founder, President & CEO of Hydravascular, LLC. He has successfully produced two (2) CE Marked devices & one (1) FDA PMA (2017). Mr. Hatran was also Co-creator/Developer of Stellarex (now owned by Spectranetics). He has worked among the founding members of RIGEL Pharmaceuticals Inc. (RIGL IPO – 2000) and helped start Zystor Therapeutics (acquired by Biomarin). His published journals include AJP, J.OB/Gyn, & Journal Physiology.
As a seasoned veteran in Silicon Valley Venture Capital world, Masashi Kiyomine is the Founder and CEO of Kicker Ventures, LLC. Mr. Kiyomine has over 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry as a Venture Capitalist expert. Before he founded Kicker Ventures in 2017, Mr. Kiyomine was an Investment Director at Mitsui & Co. Global Investment (MGI) where he led the highly skilled Global Life Science Investment team. His expertise is laser focused on the intersection of healthcare and technologies/services that improve health outcomes exponentially and address inefficiencies in the healthcare system. He began his career investing in early stage medical device start ups, and later pioneered the digital health/ healthcare services practice at MGI. He served as a board member and observer of goBalto, ChangeHealthcare, NxThera, Cardiovascular Systems Inc, and Ekos. He received his B.A. in Engineering and Asian Studies from Dartmouth College.
James Huie is a corporate and securities partner in Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati & San Francisco office. James advises life sciences and technology companies on general corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, strategic partnerships, and private equity and debt financings. He also has extensive experience in representing venture capital firms and other investors in private equity and debt financings.
